Welcome to JordyxReinvented

I've thought about doing something like this for years, so here I am. Hope this doesn't suck.

There isn't much to me besides raw and unapologetic truth. That doesn't always mix well with some people but that hasn't kept me from being my complete self. Totally and fully, myself. This blog will depict pieces of such rawness and all I can hope that it brings is inspiration to others who have the same desire, to be their full authentic selves with no reservations. The blog name comes from, my brain. Not sure how it developed but I knew that a little over a year ago, I was ready to evolve into the next version of myself. Lots has happened since I had this epiphany, and all has helped shape who I am today.

Fun Facts

I was born and raised on the island of O'ahu and didn't leave for the mainland (that is what we call it) until August 2018. It was a pivotal point in my life that I accredit a lot of my growth to. College was probably one of the best chapters of my life because it was mostly filled with booze, friendships and lessons. Three things that I feel we all can utilize at any point in time. I'm more comfortable with writing my thoughts versus articulating them verbally because writing requires me to think and gives me the option to edit/delete. Speaking doesn't give you the same luxury, so blogging seemed to be the safest bet. I can't imagine me speaking on a podcast or a YouTube channel cause the editing that would be required, sheesh! No one has time for that. I thrive in the life I've created for myself, that has been blessed upon me actually. Truly thriving! "Bonus Mom" is a new title I am proud of, working for the community that I serve is my favorite and ensuring that I'm living as decent as I can is all that I am really concerned about. I'm not perfect and make mistakes but as long as I continue to learn from them, I'll consider it a win.

What to Expect

The main point that I will always try to convey within this blog is simple. Live fully, live decently, enjoy the lessons as they come. Everything that I depict will be from my point of view and I can't promise it will always be lighthearted or easily digestible, but I can say that it will always be genuine and real. I come from a unique part of the world, being raised and taught differently from others I've come across and I can't wait to be able to share the life experiences I've had and engage with others who may be able to relate or even have questions. I want this platform to be a safe space for any and all who are interested in partaking. I want to be able to inspire those who may have been as I was, skeptical about stepping in their truth. I believe I was meant to share my story with others and build a community for them to do the same.
